Obituary of Pearl Rintjema

Rintjema, Pearl a resident of Chatham. On Friday September 17, Pearl Rintjema (nee Koopman) in her 77th year went to the rest that she loves, where troubles no more can dismay. She now resides in the presence of her much loved Lord and Saviour. Pearl lived her life with the comfort and knowledge of the unconditional love of her heavenly Father. She would have us all remember one thing, to know Christ Jesus and His saving power. Her family cherishes the memory of her faithful love for all, which was rooted in the Lord JesusÂ’ faithful love for her. Pearl will be deeply missed by Martin, her loving husband of 54 years. The dearest Mom to Jack, Diane & Keith Vreman, Ray , Joyce & John Menger, Tom, Sue & John Koopman, Dave & Trudy, Rob & Arlene, Christina & Phil Oosterman. Daughter of the late Reiner & Berendina Koopman. Oma will be missed by her 28 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Pearl leaves behind her siblings, Tom (Corrie) Koopman, Janny Burggraaf, (Rini & Wayne) Warner, Diane (Nick) Zuidema, Linda (Harry) Sluys, Ray Koopman, Bill (Wilma) Koopman. Also predeceased by her brother Bert (1970). Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home located at 459 St. Clair St. Chatham on Monday, September 20 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and from 7:00-9:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held at the Free Reformed Church located at 159 Gregory Drive East in Chatham on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at the Maple Leaf Cemetery.
