Obituary of Hamilton Lee Campbell

CAMPBELL: Hamilton Lee - Passed away at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in his 87th year. Son of the late James T. and Isabella V. (Lee) Campbell of R.R. # 2 Kent Bridge. Lee lived on the home farm until he married his wife Jean in 1953 and then moved to R.R. # 3 Kent Bridge. Survived by his wife Jean, one son Edward Lee Campbell (Janice), 3 grandchildren Jeffrey, Justin and Brittany Campbell. Predeceased by granddaughter Kimberly Erin. Predeceased by two sisters Margaret Hess (Vaughn) and D Ruth Dick (Kingsley). Lee was a member of the former Howard Road Botany United Church. He was active with the Board of Stewards and Sunday School. Past Master of Tecumseh Sydenham Lodge, No. 245 A.F. & A.M., member of Erie Blenheim Chapter No. 73, Lodge of Perfection, Rose Croix 18th Degree Mocha Shriners, London and Ahcom Shrine Club in Chatham. Lee farmed all his life in the former Harwich and Howard Townships. For several years he made his trip to Florida and Texas with his trailer and to Lion’s Head in the summer. At Lee’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation is taking place. Burial of cremated remains in Howard Road Botany Cemetery at a later date.
