Obituary of Bradley Stewart "Brad" DeLaet

DeLAET: Bradley Stewart "Brad" - A well loved resident of Ridgetown, Brad DeLaet passed away at his home on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the age of 57. Born in Chatham, Brad was the son of the late Roger and Nancy (Griffenham) DeLaet. Brad was a beloved father and provider to all. He will be dearly missed by his children Bradley James DeLaet (Kimberly) of Chatham, Tabitha Allene DeLaet of Ridgetown, Kelsey Michelle DeLaet of Chatham and Eleisha Tara Anne DeLaet of Toronto. Brad will be missed by the mothers of his children, Candy Lynch and Susan Leming. Proud grandfather of seven lovely grandchildren. Dear brother to Alan DeLaet (Cindy) of Ridgetown, Bob DeLaet (Julie) of Ridgetown, Brenda DeLaet (Roger Gould) of Chatham, Kathy Rose (John) of Cedar Springs, Raymond DeLaet (Crystal) of Ridgetown and Ken DeLaet (Marietta) of Ridgetown. Also missed by extended family and friends. Brad was an outdoorsman who made the best of every opportunity. He lived life to the fullest and never skipped a beat. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home 1:30p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 with Rev. Dwight Holditch officiating. Cremation to follow with a private family interment to be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date. Donations made in memory of Brad to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Marsh Street Baptist Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
