Obituary of Florent Hofmans

A resident of Wildwood by the Lake, Huffy Hofmans, passed away surrounded by his family on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the age of 78. Born in Wallaceburg on December 9, 1937, son of the late Charlie & Annie Hofmans (Knazook). Beloved husband of 59 years to Gail Hofmans (Countryman). Loving father to Richard Hofmans, Barry Hofmans, Tim Hofmans (Tracy), Dave Hofmans. Grandpa will be forever missed by his granddaughter Falon Hofmans (Matt) and great-grandson Morgen. Nephew to Mike Knazook (the late Harriet), John Knazook, Mary Knazook. Brother-in-law to Lorry Leeper (Bruce), the late Joy Miner (Bob), the late Joan Butler, the late Ed Countryman. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Huffy was known to his family and friends as an avid hunter, fisherman, and wood carver. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
