Obituary of Lloyd James Clark

CLARK: A resident of Chatham. Lloyd James Clark passed away peacefully at Copper Terrace Nursing Home on Tuesday March 7, 2006 at the age of 83. Born in Harwich Township son of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Taylor) Clark. Loving husband of Agnes (Wilkinson) Clark for 58 years. Loving father of two sons and a daughter-in-law; Wyatt Clark, Windsor; and Dwight and Michelle (Goudreau) Clark, Chatham. Grandfather of Matthew and Ian Clark. Brother of Donna Suitor, Jean Durnin, Blair (Sheila) Clark and Wayne (Lynn) Clark. and the late Harold, Gerald and Murray Clark. Brother-in-law of Vicky Clark, and the late Bruce Suitor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. In his youth Lloyd farmed with his father and then taught school, finishing that career as head of the Geography Department at Chatham Collegiate Institute. He was a faithful member of Park Street United Church serving as a Board Member, a member of the Men's Group, A.O.T.S. and for 50 years a member of the Choir. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Friday March 10, 2006 from 3:00 - 5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at Park St. United Church on Saturday March 11, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Curtis Marwood officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donation made by cheque to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Park St. United Church appreciated.
