Obituary of Bernard Fisher

FISHER: At Chatham Retirement Resort, May 5, 2006, B.H. "Red" Fisher of Mitchell's Bay, Ontario, at the age of 92. Loving husband of the late Lois (1998). Cherished father of Ed Fisher of Scottsdale, Arizona; Brad & Keiren Fisher of Camarillo, California; Dale Fisher of Sarnia, Ontario; Tracy & John Fritz of Fountain Hills, Arizona; and Greg & Debbie Fisher of Fountain Hills, Arizona. Also survived by 6 grand children and 4 great grand children. Red, a nationally renowned sportsman, hosted the popular Canadian television show "The Red Fisher Show" from 1968 - 1990. He was also an accomplished writer and poet. Red was a life-long promoter of conservation causes in Canada. Memorial donations in his name may be made to the Ontario Federation of Anglers & Hunters to assist in those ongoing efforts. To respect Red's wishes, a private family service is being held.
