BRIDGEN: Donna L. (nee Getty) – A resident of Leamington, Donna Bridgen passed away at Leamington District Memorial Hospital with her family at her side on Monday, April 9, 2012 at the age of 75. Born in Olinda, Donna was the daughter of the late Harvey and Lorna (Galloway) Getty. Beloved wife of 55 years to Jack Bridgen. Loving mother of Shelley Sonneveld (Jack) of Blenheim, Greg Bridgen (Roni) of Leamington, Mark Bridgen (Chris) of Lakefield and Jodi-Lynn Grubb (Lawrence) of Leamington. Very proud grandmother of Matt Sonneveld of Blenheim, Kerri-Lynn Sonneveld (Mike Haggitt) of Woodstock, Steven Bridgen of Leamington, Stephanie Bridgen (John) of Leamington, Andrew Bridgen of Kingsville, Rebecca Bridgen of Lakefield, Corey Hood of Lakefield and Ashley Grubb (Len), Erika Grubb and Mikayla Grubb all of Leamington. Great-Grandmother to Tyler Sonneveld and Brayden Sonneveld. Dear sister to Maxine Johnston (Carl) of Collingwood, Ron Getty (Sharon) of Windsor and Sandra Frevel of Edmonton. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Fred Frevel. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 12:00 p.m until the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Tim Joyce officiating. Cremation to follow with a private family inurnment to be held at a later date.
