Obituary of Sharon Hills

Hills, Sharon Lynn - of Ridgetown, passed away with her children at her side in Chatham, on Monday, October 22, 2018. Born in Cedar Springs, Ontario, daughter of the late Harold and Edith (nee Sample) Paine. Beloved wife of the late W. Keith Hills.

Loving mother of Scott Hills of Ridgetown and Lesa Hills of Montreal.

Grandmother of Spencer Hills of St.Catharines, and Brooke Hills of Ridgetown.

Sister to the late Larry Paine, Brent Paine of Blenheim, Lee-Anne Goodall (Ken) of Cobourg, Darrel (Dianne) Paine of Blenheim, Cheryl Stewart (Al) of Kelowna, Dawn Muill (late Dan) of St. Thomas, and the late Kim Paine. Sister-in-law to Helen Field (late Jack) of Ridgetown, late Bob Hills (late Phyllis), late Ross Hills.

Will be missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Sharon worked at different places included A Gold and Sons, Erie Ridge Farm Syndicate, Bushel and Peck, as well as being a stay at home mom.

She was a member of the Erie Street UCW, and was a volunteer at the Village, and Nahii Ridge School.

She loved being active and was an avid sports fan. She could always be found supporting family whether it be sports, social or school related activities. She enjoyed going for coffee with friends and was known for her baking - especially at Birthdays and Christmas’.

Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. East, Ridgetown on Thursday October 25, 2018 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service for Sharon will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday October 26, at 11am with the Rev. Judith Fayter officiating. Burial to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Ridgetown.
