Obituary of Gary Alexander McFadden

A resident of Ridgetown, Gary McFadden passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on October 25, 2019 at the age of 80. 

Born in Camden Township, Gary was the son of  the late Leonard and Mary (Smith) McFadden. 

Beloved husband of 60 years to the love of his life, Mary McFadden (nee Young).

Survived by Debbie (Dave) Peltier of Ridgetown, Dale (Elaine) McFadden of Baku, Lisa McFadden of Ridgetown, and Bert (Karen) McFadden of Heathcote.

Loving grandpa to Cory (Amanda), Dale (Lindsay), Justine (Adam), Carly, Jonel (Matthew), Gary, Leif, Lizzy and great grandpa to Claire, Letty, and Benjamin.

Dear brother to Dixie (Jim), Pam (Jack), Aaron (Darlene), Lonnie (late Cathy), and predeceased by Pat, Donna, Penny, Dennis, and Michael 'Dale'.

Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Gary was an avid golfer and known for his love of nature, riding his motorcycle, horse racing, camping and cutting the grass (multiple times a day).

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Gary's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 243, 75 Main St. East in Ridgetown on Saturday November 2, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Donations made in memory of Gary to the Alzheimer Society of Chatham Kent would be appreciated.
