Obituary of Freda May Galbraith

Galbraith: Freda May (Hall) -

A resident of Ridgetown, formerly of Morpeth, Freda Galbraith passed away peacefully at the Village on the Ridge on September 28, 2020 at the age of 94. 

Born in Chatham, Freda was the daughter of the late William and Armenia (Bushey) Hall. 

Beloved wife of many years to the late Glen Galbraith (1999).

Loving mother to Edward (Deb) Galbraith of St. Thomas, Paul (Susan) Galbraith of Ridgetown, David (Patti) Galbraith of Ridgetown, Glenda (Jim) Yule of Ridgetown, Karen (Brian) Dunlop of Morpeth and predeceased by Howard (Linda) Galbraith. 

Grandmother to Tracy (Brian), Terry (Andrew), Kevin (Kim), Rebecca (Joel), Jason (Anne), Nichole (Tom), Jamie, Jodie, Jordan, and Jennifer.

Great grandmother to 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Sister to the late Bill Hall.

Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday September 30, 2020 at McKinlay Funeral Home.  Those wishing to attend are asked to call the funeral home at 519-674-3141 to schedule a time or sign up through https://signup.com/go/QfTozgP.  A private family funeral service will take place on October 1, with Michael McCracken officiating, followed by a private burial at Morpeth Cemetery. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario have mandated that all attendees must wear a mask at both events.

Special thank you to Dr. Prins and the staff of Village on the Ridge for their exceptional care for Freda and their compassion in her final days.  Her friendships will be missed by many residents.
