Memories of Lee Ann. We were childhood friends. We were the same age, our parents friends, my mother was very ill and Fanny took my sister in until mom was better. Lee Ann told me they were going to keep her. Lee Ann was probably practicing her nursing skills at that age. Lee Ann had the greatest birthday parties. Kick the can was the game of the summer at the Simpsons home base. When it was time to get our inoculations for DPT and small pox, we would line up in the gym at RPS (the old school) and Lee Ann and I would be in line together. Lee Ann would tell me, if you don’t feel well after your shot, I will tell the teacher and I can take you home. I don’t remember not feeling bad but Lee Ann would tell the teacher I felt sick and home we would go to Lee Ann’s. I guess Fanny must have called Mom and then we would play for the rest of the day. Little did I know, I was probably her first patient. As we matured we went our separate ways but when I came home to visit I always heard what a great nurse Lee yAnn had become. A couple of years ago, I saw lee Ann and Bill at Rondeau Joes and we had a visit and remembered we had a milestone to celebrate on our birthdays the next year. It was no surprise to read what a wonderful nurse and friend Lee Ann was to many. Rest In Peace my friend.

I was the little girl who stayed with Fanny Simpson (don’t remember put heard lots of stories).I had a visit with Lee Ann at Rondeau Joe’s this past summer. I got to know Peter and Beth when l worked at Mitton’s and they would come in to buy birthday and Christmas gifts for their mom and always put a lot of thought into each gift. My sincere sympathy to all the family

I will truly miss this wonderful lady. Enjoyed very much playing bridge with her and Bill. She was always courteous and a good player.
We occasionally spoke of the ER experiences that we had which brought back many memories of the times I was required to be there on the job. The dedication Bill showed towards Lee Ann was commendable and Kathy and I will surely keep Bill and the family in our prayers. So sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear of Lee Ann's passing, she was a wonderful lady and an exceptional ER nurse; always the "calming influence" when things were hectic back in the day...! I am glad to learn of your wonderful "retirement years" together, and the many happy memories and friends made along the way.

We light a candle because Lee Ann was such a bright light. Just think of all of the people that she helped throughout the years, comforting them and restoring them to life. She and her folks we held in high esteem on the Main Street in Ridgetown, and Lee Ann has been a wonderful neighbor to us all at Rondeau. We shared the privilege of raising our kids on the beach.
Please know that we are keeping you all in our hearts. Sending Love...Rosemary, Craig and family.

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful woman. I always enjoyed speaking with Lee Ann at various Rondeau events, and it was clear she was a smart, funny and caring person. Dan and I send our deepest sympathies to Beth, Peter & Kristen, West Coast Dave and Bill. It's always so hard to lose one of the Rondeau family, but these current circumstances are even more difficult. Sending all of you much love and hoping that your happy memories together will bring you comfort in the coming days. She will be missed.
