Dodge, Janice Lee 

A resident of Toronto, Janice Lee Dodge passed away at Toronto Western Hospital on Sunday, June 12, 2022. 

Born in Chatham, Janice was the daughter of the late Foster & Josie (nee Hanna) Dodge. 

Mother of Nancy Lamoureux (nee Chamberlin) (Rick), Joseph Chamberlin, the late Daniel Kelly Chamberlin (Veronica McLean), and the late Tony Ray Chamberlin.

Grandmother of Desirea Lamoureux, Angelica McLean-Chamber, and Victoria Mclean 

Great-grandmother of Eli Mclean.

Sister of Mable Louise (Francis) Hawco, the late Foster William “Sonny” Dodge, Pamela Maillet, Lonnie Dodge, and James Allan Dodge (Lois). 

Predeceased by her brother, Foster William Dodge, nephew Robert William Dodge, nieces, Candice Renee Brummitt and Patricia Lynn Brummitt, and great-niece Dakota Sky Aguilar Brummitt. 

She will be missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family. 

Janice was an active volunteer with the 416 Friends of the Bag Ladies (LOFT). She enjoyed family gatherings, sitting outside and window shopping. She loved to play scrabble & was an avid supporter of the Pride Parades. Janice enjoyed spending time with her daughter and granddaughter.

Family to receive friends on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 12:00 pm until a Traditional First Nations Service at 1:00 pm. Cremation to follow. For family and friends who wish to attend the burial are invited to Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  

Donations in memory of Janice may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the LOFT Community Services - 416 Community Support for Women.
