Obituary of Kenneth Burk

BURK, Kenneth Allan A resident of Chatham, Kenneth Allan Burk, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Born in Blenheim 75 years ago, son of the late Sherman & Gladys (Speed) Burk. Kenneth married his beloved wife Patricia (Gauthier) on June 19, 1961. Loving father to Michael Allan Burk (Donna) of Chatham, the late Tracy Lynn Burk (2009), Sheri Annette Burk (Stephen) of Ottawa, Duane Patrick Burk (Corrine) of London. Forever missed by all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his sister Ruth Inez Smith (the late Arlo). Predeceased by many siblings. Missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Kenneth worked at Union Gas from 1955-1997 in both Chatham and London, he was an avid stamp collector, loved playing poker, fishing, and martial arts. He was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 628, and a member of the OACETT. Cremation has taken place, and a Private Family Interment will be held at Burk Cemetery. All are welcome to an Open House in celebration of Kenneth, Saturday November 1, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion-Branch 628 in Chatham.
