Obituary of M. Esther Cumming

CUMMING: M. Esther (Duddy) - Passed away on Thursday January 1, 2015 at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown, age 97. Esther was born on October 22, 1917 in Chatham Township. Wife of the late Gerald E. Cumming (1984). Survived by her daughter Janice Williams (Bill) of Ridgetown, grandson Gordon Williams (Sherrie Bolohan) of Ridgetown, great-granddaughters Phaedra, Sadie and Darcy, and brother Al Duddy (Eileen Muckle) of Chatham. Predeceased by her parents William Allan Duddy and Alma Adell Webster. Esther was a longtime member of Park St. Church and later held membership with St. Andrews Church. An active member in the church, Esther belonged to the Park St. U.C.W., Park St. U.C.W. Quilting Group and was a member of the Chatham Kent Health Alliance Ladies Assisting Society. She also enjoyed her crafts and gardening. A private funeral was held with interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
