Day: Charlotte (nee Ramsdale)
A resident of Chatham, Charlotte passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at the Blenhiem Community Village at the age of 95. Born in Raleigh Township on August 7, 1928, to the late Eileen and Boyd Ramsdale. Loving wife of the late Charlie Day where they shared 61 years of marriage. Dear mother to Ellen Marie and Gerry Zimmer of Chatham. Proud grandmother to Kimberly Post and her husband Glen Post of Chatham, Jeremy Zimmer (Yvette) of Windsor, Jarrod of London.
Dear sister to Howard Ramsdale (Rita) and Mary Kochnowich (late John). Predeceased by her brother George Ramsdale and the late Marion, and her sister's Eva Coatsworth and late Lloyd. Charlotte will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street Chatham on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the Funeral Service to celebrate Charlotte's life at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
In Charlotte's memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
