Obituary of Noreen Dye

DYE: Noreen Eleanor (Reimer). Peacefully, with her family at her side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, Noreen Eleanor Dye (née Reimer) of Ridgetown. Beloved wife of 53 years to Robert W. (Bob) Dye. Dear mother of Renée Dye of Mississauga. Dear grandmother of Kaitlyn Dye and Madison Dye of Acton. Predeceased by son Robert (Rob) Dye (2008). Loving sister of Elaine Liski of Regina, aunt to Brenda Liski, Bruce Liski, Donald Reimer and Darlene Reimer, all of Regina. Also survived by daughter-in-law Natalie Dye, sister-in-law Marlene Pelletier, and sister-in-law Sharon Dye. Predeceased by her parents Tillie and Ed Reimer and brother Gordon, who had also resided in Regina. Noreen was born in Regina, moving to Toronto in 1965, then to Mississauga in 1967. Noreen and her husband Bob retired to Ridgetown in 2003. While living in Mississauga, Noreen was a member of Lorne Park Baptist Church, and while living in Ridgetown, Noreen attended and supported Erie Street United Church. Visitation at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday from 5:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Erie Street United Church, 7 Erie St. N., Ridgetown from 12:00-2:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of Noreen's life beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Judith Fayter officiating and Mrs. Beverly Fuller presiding at the organ.Pall Bearers were Paul Galbraith, Jeff McFeggan, Scott Pelletier, Michael Dye, Bill Bates and Rod Rumble. Interment at Gosnell Cemetery, Orford Township, Ontario. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Erie Street United Church (Building Fund), Howard Mutual Medical Centre Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
