Obituary of Clarence 'Clare' Haitsma

HAITSMA: Clarence “Clare”- A resident of Ridgetown, Clare Haitsma passed away peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Sunday, December 8, 2013 at the age of 67. Born in Boer, The Netherlands, Clare was the son of the late Hoite and Rinske (van de Wal) Haitsma. Beloved husband of 25 years to Jackie Haitsma (nee Waite). Loving father of Stephanie Rumble (Scott) of Ridgetown, Jennifer Raymundo (Sal) of Windsor and Erin Trudgen (Brent Snary) of Dresden. Will be missed by special friends Linda Martin and Rob Foote. Proud papa of Owen Trudgen, Sean Rumble, Andrew Raymundo, Shanna Rumble, Brodi Snary, Nikole Martin Campbell, Danielle Martin Campbell, Edwin Raymundo and Lily Snary. Clare is survived by his brother John Haitsma of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dear uncle to Daniel Haitsma and great-uncle to Annexie Haitsma, both of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Sadly missed by his four-legged companion Daisy. Clare is reunited with his best pal Bailey. Also missed by many friends, co-workers and extended family. Clare worked at Charron Transport for nearly 20 years. Clare was a an avid vegetable gardener, specializing in green beans, potatoes and tomatoes. As per Clare’s wishes, cremation will take place with a private interment to be held at a later date.
