TURNER: Lea. A resident of Chatham, Lea Thelma Turner passed peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on Tuesday December 10, 2013 in her 92nd year. She was born in Toronto, daughter of the late Nick & Aino (Koskinen) Grundsten. Loving wife of the late Norman Frank Turner, who predeceased her on June 25, 2003. Dear mother of Eric Turner and his wife Darlene of Chatham. Loving grandmother of Paul Turner and his wife Keely of Canmore, Alberta, and Tania Buko and her husband Kevin of Kitchener. Proud great grandmother of Brittany and Amanda Buko of Kitchener, and Alina Turner of Canmore. Lea leaves behind a brother Alberta Grundsten and his wife Bernice of Toronto, and a dear sister-in-law Helen Turner of Ajax, wife of the late Robert Turner. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. It was Lea’s wish to have a small service with family and friends. Her ashes will be inurned beside her husband at Maple Leaf Mausoleum in Chatham on Monday December 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com.
