Obituary of Stewart Ross McBrayne

McBRAYNE: Stewart Ross – A resident of Ridgetown, and formerly of Howard Township, Stewart McBrayne passed away at the Village on the Ridge, Ridgetown on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the age of 87. Born in Harwich Township, Stewart was the son of the late Wesley and Agnes (Smythe) McBrayne. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Anne (nee Millson) (1985). Loving father of Susan Robertson (Jack) of Wallaceburg, Sharon Gregory (Jim) of Ridgetown, Robert McBrayne of Bothwell and Sheila McBrayne (Sarah) of Wheatley. Proud grandfather of Greg and Andrew Mason, and Scott and Brad Gregory. Great-grandfather of Sydney Mason. Predeceased by his brothers Mac (1986) and Glenn (2002). Stewart was a lifelong farmer in Howard Township on the 4th concession. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street E., Ridgetown on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mervin Jaques officiating.
