Schoger, Michael, a resident of Chatham-Kent. Michael Schoger, died Sunday February 16, 2014 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, at the age of 89. Born in Frauendorf, Transylvania, Romania, son of the late Michael & Susanna (Seidner) Schoger. Beloved husband of the late Gertrud ‘Trudy’ (Schnarre) Schoger (2011). Dear father of Michael (Jr.) Schoger, R.R. #2, Merlin and Markus Schoger & Valerie Burns, Chatham. Grandfather of Marko Sebastijan Schoger & Andreas Bjorn Schoger. Brother of Susanna Lupu, Fuerth, Germany and the late Roland Schoger. Brother-in-law of Enni Schoger, Moringen, Germany. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Thursday February 20, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Donna Green officiating.
