Obituary of Emerson James Pugh

PUGH: Emerson James A resident of Blenheim, Ontario, Emerson James Pugh died peacefully at Blenheim Community Village on Saturday June 21, 2014. He was born in Westport, Nova Scotia, 94 years ago on June 20, 1920. Predeceased by his parents Lester & Irene (Buckman) Pugh, and step-father Capt. M.A. Hyson. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Woolaver) Pugh (1998). Loving father of Carolyn & Robert Forbes of Blenheim, and David & Willie Pugh of Quispamsis, New Brunswick. Proud grandfather of Brian Pugh, Craig Pugh, and Rob Forbes , and the late Cheryl Pugh. Fondly remembered by his sisters and brothers-in-law Abbie Woolaver of London, ON, Olive Varga of Surrey, BC, George & Joan Woolaver, of Bedford, NS, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Emerson was a Veteran of WWII, serving with the RCAF. He was employed by the CNR for 38 years. Emerson was a past member of Burns Lodge, Mount Royal United Church, and the Lions Club in Moncton. He enjoyed a game of bridge, a visit to Tim Horton’s, his friends, pets and travelling. A Memorial Service for Emerson will be held in Moncton, New Brunswick at a later date.
