Whyte, Andrew Arthur, a resident of Chatham. Andrew Whyte died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family , after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday July 3, 2014 at the age of 70. Born in Chatham, son of the late Andrew Bell Weir & Emily Louise (Fortescue) Whyte. Beloved husband of Susan (Peters) Whyte. Dear father of Robert (Cindy) Whyte, Florida; David (Michelle) Whyte, Orangeville; Nancy (Brad) Connor, Chatham; and Steven (Lynne) Whyte, Chatham. Grandfather of Jennifer (Matt) Kentner, Andrew Whyte; Nicolette Whyte, Taryn Whyte, Jadyn Whyte; Lauren Connor, Brenden Connor, Allison Connor; Alex Whyte, and Meghan Whyte. Great grandfather of Aiden Kentner, and Liam Kentner. Brother of Stewart Whyte, Chatham and Cathy (Mike) Corriveau, Chatham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Andrew had a long time love for classic cars. Friends will be received at Christ Church Anglican, 80 Wellington Street West, Chatham, on Tuesday July 8, 2014 from 1p.m. – 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with The Venerable Paul Millward officiating.
