CAASENBROOD, Gary A resident of Ridgetown, Gary Caasenbrood, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at home with his loving family at his side. Born in the Netherlands. Predeceased by his loving wife Bertha (Betty) in 2005. Loving father of Anna (David) Ford and Pete Caasenbrood. Loving grandfather of Betty-Anne Osborne & Don, Charlotte Osborne & Bill, Crystal Ford & Ronny, Gary Caasenbrood & Amanda, Sarah Caasenbrood, Martin Caasenbrood, Daniel Caasenbrood. Great grandfather of Kaiden, Brooklyn, Rocky, Quin, Kenny & Billy. Great-great-grandfather Alexandria. Survived by many brothers and sisters and their families in the Netherlands. Proud 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 8435, Ridgetown, St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Life Bridge Family Church, former member of the Ridgetown Optimist Club and the Ridgetown Rotary Club. Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m., and Friday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 6:30 p.m. and Knight of Columbus Prayers at 6:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
