Obituary of Jeff Murray

Murray: Jeff - 1969-2014 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeff on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 with his loving family and friends by his side. Son of Arthur Murray and Lyn Stanley. Adored grandson of Agnes Murray (2012), Morley Murray (1976) and Doreen Stanley. Brother of David Murray of Vancouver. Will be greatly missed by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jeff worked at SRC for 20 years and also for Community Living in Leamington and Wallaceburg. A very special thank-you to Rex and Kim for all of their loving and caring help during this very difficult time. They were with Jeff right up to the end, always putting a smile on his face with their daily visits. To Uncle Morley, thank you. We couldn't have done it without your help. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to Sandra McLean, his CCAC Nurse who was always kind and showed great compassion to all of us, but especially to Jeff. Thank-you to Dr. Tran, Dr. Doleman, Dr. Sullivan and Dr. Johnston for their excellent care of Jeff and also to the other doctors and nurses both in Chatham and London. Thank-you to the palliative care team at CCAC. All of this support and care allowed Jeff to fulfill his greatest desire to stay in his home on his own terms. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Cremation has taken place with an interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Amherstburg at a later date. Donations made in memory of Jeff to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
