John was a dear friend of my husband Brian and I. He made us so welcome on moving to Ridgetown and many a good party we had with him and his family. We visited Yvonne and John in Grand Bend last summer going to see a play at the theatre. Our deepest sympathy to Yvonne and his children.

Yvonne and family. Heidi and I are so sorry on the loss of John. He was a great friend over the many many years - both professionally in our work careers and in parallel our friendships on the side of our working careers and then of course in our retirements. I have so many memories of the good times l wouldn't know where to begin, but here goes with a few off hand - the times we visited each other with our young children; John and I on the AMCTO Board of Directors and the many meetings we shared: his role in bringing the AMO Board of Directors to Fort Frances and the boat trip tour we all had so much fun on; we 3 Amigos on his first sail boat going down the St. Lawrence from Brockville to Kingston to attend an AMCTO Agm; the rides he did on the back of my 'hog' as John called it; the Arizona trips we shared; the many many times in Arizona in retirement; and many more memories we will never forget. Good bye John, we love you and will truly miss you.
