A resident of Ridgetown, Lothar Olfert passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on August 5, 2022 at the age of 93.

Born in Danzig, Germany, Lothar was the son of Abraham and Anna (nee Will) Olfert.

Beloved husband of the late Lorene Olfert (nee Unger ).

Dear father of Barbara Martens (Peter) and Mark Olfert. Predeceased by his son Derrick (2009).

Proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers Eckhard and Dietrich Olfert.

Lothar will be also be dearly missed his brother in law Wlibert and his wife Linda Unger and sister in law Martha Heseltine.

Family and friends will be received at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Tuesday August 9, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service to celebrate Lothar's life at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
