Obituary of Christopher Lee Brown

Brown: Christopher Lee -

A resident of Blenheim, and formerly of Chatham and Woodstock, Chris Brown passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the age of 57.

Born in Chatham, Chris was the son of Karene (nee Stass) and the late Russell Brown (2019).

Dear brother of Robert Brown (Lynn) of Tilbury,.

Proud uncle of Elena, Dillan and Sadie.

Special nephew to Leonard Stass (Nancy), Irene Borrows (Ken Bonner), Lois Stass, Laura Binga, Colin Stass (Yiling), Marianne Stass, Gina Gardiner (Drew).

Predeceased by his uncle Ed Stass and his aunts Nancy Stass and Carol Stass.

Also missed by many cousins, friends and extended family.

Chris worked in the pizza profession all of his life in Woodstock, Chatham and Blenheim.

Throughout his life, Chris had to overcome many of life's hurdles: one after another. Life was constantly a battlefield within himself, between his big soft heart and his overly active mind. His need was to be understood. Though he seemed to struggle a lot, Chris Brown was a fighter.

His strong heart desired to help others, friends, acquaintances and especially the unfortunate souls. In doing this, it brought him fulfillment and was his contribution to life.

Chris was a hard worker, and a man of faith. He was very talented on the computer and he would often rebuild them. He also enjoyed playing many online games.

A Graveside Service will be held for Chris at Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim at 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Donations made in memory of Chris to the Word of Life Soup Kitchen would be appreciated by the family.
